Tourism interests
My main interest is cultural heritage tourism. My PhD thesis was focused on the introduction of culture-based tourism opportunities at Prophetstown, a site in central Indiana intrinsically tied to Native American and US military history, but currently interpreted with events based on an agrarian calendar. I am broadly interested in getting the word out--with print, electronic and social media--about the cultural aspects of destinations.
